Not speaking personally here, but just a few reasons why people are voting Clinton/Trump:

1). One of those two WILL win, so people feel obligated to choose whoever is best (or least worst as some see it)

2). The winner decides which way the Supreme Court will lean for the next decade

3). They actually like Clinton/Trump

4). They want Party unity, even if it means supporting an unpopular candidate

5). They think protest votes are wasted votes

6). They haven’t done their research and just blindly vote straight party

And I don’t know why people campaign. But then again, my mom doesn’t know why I like wagons and shooting brakes, so I guess politics is some peoples’ hobby.
